The fact is, I haven’t really been too happy working as a pharmacy technician, and lately I’ve been hearing rumors going around that my company may be downsizing. I could probably just find a different job in the same field, however I’ve been contemplating actually changing occupations lately. Ever since I read somewhere that a sonographer salary could be in the 50,000 to 60,000 dollar per year range, I haven’t been able to get the possibilities out of my mind. I have to admit that I’ve become a bit bored with my current position as a pharmacy tech. A lot of it is just being on my feet all day, doing inventory and customer service. There’s a lot of responsibility and to be quite honest the pay is fairly low. If I’m going to work as hard as I do, why shouldn’t I be paid better for my services? I really do think it’s time I got more serious about becoming an ultrasound technician.

I am the kind of person that really hates having to go out shopping. Part of that is because I do not like to deal with other people. And when something sells out, like this, it means that I have a few choices to make. Do I start going to all of the other local stores in a panic to try to find it?
